Washing impurities from pills or powders purchased is a topic of much discussion. Chemicals (solvents) may be used to try to dissolve and remove substances that have been used to bulk out the deal. Although you may find a variety of suggested methods of doing this, essentially we think there are 3 main problems with this advice.
- Using chemicals to try and purify gear can be extremely dangerous
- With any washing technique you will always lose some of the active ingredient
- Once your washing equipment has been used for the above purpose, it will be contaminated with traces of any drugs put through it. That means that having this gear and chemicals (solvents) lying around could create very awkward circumstances if ever discovered.
For these reasons we generally do not advocate washing techniques.
