Banana Smoothie
Posted By: Bluebelly

*Bluebelly tip: Smoothies are a moderate source of protein (including 5-HTP and tryptophan), magnesium and vitamin B-6.  To increase the content of all nutrients (and add additional anti-oxidants), add 3 scoops of Sustagen powder to your shake.

This is a nutritious meal substitute, that additional protein or Sustagen powder can easily be added to if desired.  It can also be purchased from a sandwich or juice bar if you are in a hurry.

Ingredients

  • 1 Medium Banana
  • 200ml reduced fat milk
  • 1 scoop vanilla ice cream
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • (Optional Sustagen powder)
